Sign in to the same account on your computer and phone and they pair automatically — nothing to confirm on the computer.
Mobile app and web version: Me → Delete account; desktop app: Settings → Account → Delete account. Type your username to confirm. It takes effect immediately. What is deleted and what is kept is explained in the Privacy Policy.
